check engine light

Hello all,

A couple of days ago I realized some smoke coming from my engine and soon realized that I was running really low on antifreeze. So I filled it up and all is good now.

The only problem is that my "Check Engine" light is on along with the "Check Tranny" light that blinks on the left hand side of the console. Is there anyway to get these shut off without having to take it in to a shop?
