I have this guy that wants to trade wheels with me... here are mine...

And he has 17" Toxxins. But one of the wheels is cracked on the inside. Now I really don't like my wheels, and I can get this crack fixed for $109 from the local wheel shop. Is this a good idea? Here's a pic of his cracked wheel...

well i would say depends on if you really like his rims or not. if you really want them then i would say go for them. but my theory is, why pay 110 to fix a broke rim. i'd rather save up the extra 50 and just buy a new one! assuming that this rim is under 200. but if it's under 2 then i say just buy a new one amd put the old tire on their! and maybe when you get time and money get that one fixed and keep it as a spare.

Never drive on cracked or fixed wheels. You never know when they are going to give. I'd just keep your wheels, unless he's giving you money to take his wheels. Usually if one rim is cracked that same pothole or berm in the road cracked or bent another wheel or two or three.
