Today I noticed that my windshield washer fluid was empty so I "attempted" to fill it back up, only to realise that my dumb ass accidentally put the entire jug of washer fluid into the radiator overflow. Will this hurt anything? I really don't want to do an entire rad flush, but if this will hurt the car, I will do so. I'm thinking that washer fluid is just like water and it will not hurt the block or rad. Am I right?
thanks guys

Hard to say whether the washer fluid will cause any short or long term damage but I believe it contains water and alcohol.

I'd recommended at least draining the coolant reservoir as soon as possible. You can simply disconnect the hose at the botton of the tank or just remove it totally and dump it out. Only two nuts hold it to the strut tower and just pull up. Wash the reservoir out with water, reinstall and add 50/50 mix of coolant up to the line.

You might consider running a hydrometer test to make sure the washer fluid did not degrade the existing coolant. Good luck!

Good advice. The fluid from the resivoir only makes its way into the engines cooling system through heating and cooling cycles of the engine.
If you did not warm up the engine after you poured the washer fluid in, then no washer fluid made its way into the engine, so you have no worries.

Alcohol is corrosive to aluminum, so if it got in the cooling system, there could be a problem. If it never circulated, then draining the overflow will be fine.
