Absolutely marvelous! I also had no idea this transkit was available. I hope Ettienne also has a Pikes Peak 405 in the works. ;)

I've already seen a transkit for the Pikes Peak 405, only thing is it's kinda rare....

Have to love that 205 though, excellent execution on producing a unique and gorgeous model!

Hi,

I already have the transkit on my "to-do"-pile of unbuilt kits, yours looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you use some more reference-pics except those coming with the transkit?

Hi

Really good looking - and I'm tempted!

The tires - are they those from the kit...or?

Best regards

Great build! :bigthumb:
I love these PP cars - a bit out of the ordinary IMO

Etienne at Renaissance is working SLOWLY ;) on a 405 Peaks T/K which I am waiting for (hint hint)

I think Reji also make a 405 PP T/K as well but this is only distributed through Nimpex(?) in Germany.

Oli, aka Bigfrit, reviewed the Reji kit somewhere on here, you could check it out.

Very cool! Looks wicked.

But, you need panellines dude! That would make it so much better!

Looks awesome!
Great bodywork, wheels look a bit 'bubbly' though, the tuck seems a bit odd.

Wow, you work very fast, I only just heard this transkit is available now.

I see there is a new 205T16 Transkit on the future release section of the Renaissance website. I'm sure there will be a few more appearing on AF.

Anyway, keep up the great work

Which transkit would this new one be? Possibly a Dakar conversion?

Anybody know how much the Pike's Peak TK costs, approximately?

Lionel-

Sorry I didn't respond earlier: Thanks for the pics of the transkit. I think your English is just fine, we all know what parts you are talking about. And don't worry about being French: Nobody is perfect :lol2:

Cool model.
Definetly looks great. But for me it is a bit "overspoilered". But if such kit would exist for the 405 .... :)

It's never overspoilered !!!!

Thanks again everyone for all your comments !!! It's really motivating for me as I'm doing scale models for only a year and a half and it's not always simple to make great looking models as yours !!!!! THANKS :bigthumb:

Hello MICHA,

Sorry for my late answer !! :chair:
I took a couple of pics on the internet and also used a book about the pikes peak race but in this one, there's no special detail pics !!! :iceslolan

Do you want my reference pics by e-mail ? Don't hesitate to PM me ! :bigthumb:
