Okay so I was driving up a hill with the air conditioning on trying to defrost my windows and my engine temp. went way up above the H and so I pulled off the road and found that I had no coolant and I was drippig fluid from the bottom of my radiator. before this happened I drove over a curb on accident at a Del Taco and I ripped the plastic guard right under my radiator on the driver's side. My boyfriend found later that the fluid is dripping from the bottom of my transaxle. he checked the oil with the dipstick and the oil is at the appropriate level and there is no water in it. he doesn't know weather or not the dipstick checks from the oil pan or from the engine. The water we put in the radiator was gone the morning after but we can't see it leaking from the radiator itself so we think that maybe there is a leak somewhere else, possibly from the motor somewhere around the transaxle. So our question is, is one of the hoses above the transaxle leaking coolant or do we have another problem regarding the head gasket? Any answers or ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you much.

Cracked radiator or hose. If it has a radiator with plastic ends it could have a crack and you may not be able to see it. Fill it with water, start the engine, rev the motor a little, have someone watch around the area that could have been hit by the by the curb for a leak.. BEWARE the cooling fans can star at anytime and cut your fingers, keep'em away.

the radiator is plastic but why would we see the leak by the transaxle? if it was coming from the radiator wouldnt the leak be under the radiator?
and also we just attempted to move the car but now it wont turn on and has a weird clicking noise like the batterys super low?????
