My 4x4 high and 4x4 low lights are blinking 3 times then off for a few minutes then blinks 3 times. This cycle continues while I am driving. Is this anything to be concerned about???

It means your four wheel drive has a problem, and probably won't work when you try to use it.
Often, it is the motor in the transfer case that switches from auto to high to low when you turn the switch, or sensors on the driveshafts that monitor how fast each driveshaft is turning so the system knows when to apply more power the front wheels. Sensors get dirty, and don't work well.
It will set a code that the dealer can read with a scanner (as well as some good independent shops - it takes more than a standard code reader as they are special body codes, not engine codes) to determine what is wrong with it.
