Ok u ppl seem to know what ur talkin about so i just need an opinion.... i have two 12" kenwood kfc300s subs :iceslolan which are 150w rms with an impedance of 4 ohms, i'm just wondering if this amp is suitable....
JBL GTO75
104 watts RMS x 4 channel at 4 ohms
284 watts RMS x 2 channel at 4 ohms
3 channel mode: 2 x 104W RMS + 284W RMS for sub
Ratings at 14.4V supply
Variable cross-over. Variable Bass Boost.
Speaker Level Input
Overload protection
seems fine to me just need a few opinions :licka:

JVC Head Units...they're okish.
However look into Pioneer, Kenwood, Low end Alpine, low end Eclipse, High End Sony, Even high end Dual.

i've heard the same about pioneer, but many of my friends have different models, and none of them has had a problem with it. imo u should still consider pioneer, worst comes to worse, you've got a warranty. :2cents:

Two fo my friends, and my dad, have the Pioneer DEH P3700MP and it only gets hot to the touch in my friends moms Saturn. My dad has a Toyota T100 and it doesn't get too hot, nor does it overheat in my friends Dodge Ram.

Still, i was just listing brand names that are easily avalable and somewhat cheap. wasnt really thinking. i geuss ill just suggest Micintoch for now on to be safe. who wants the $1000 CD player with only basic features???? i do i do.

Eclipse is really good but Alpine push out some power and my mom has had hers for 7 years so i think they last a long time. Plus i just bought a 9813 and i love it sounds way better than sony or pioneer for sure!

staying in a decent $200 range, eclipse and alpine push out same power, about 15wrms x 4. the thing with alpine, however, is they are usually the better quality product. an alpine unit will have about 10dB on the eclipse on the signal noise ratio.
imo, when it comes down to it, some of these specs are so close together with one another and on product may have something the other doesn't, that it just comes down to raw choice. what do you like better?
