1982-1986 Sierra Front Grille

Is there anyone out there that has swapped a 82 for a 86? Is it possible? What may or may not have to be done?

It is possible and looks much better!! Also, go 2 local dealer and get new matching 1987 headlamp doors. They R only like $15.00 each!!! U will need to get new pigtails for the parking lamps on the "quad headlamp" Seirra Classic and High Sierra trim level trucks. The 1981-1982 models have a "deeper" style plastic bulb socket that will contact the radiator support when installing the 1983-87 style grill. (parking lamps located in the bumper on 1981-82). I would just go 2 ur local salvage yard and cut me 2 oigtails and splice them into ur old wires...Hope this helps!! :o)
