We even made it into the newspaper!! The Herald (http://www.nzherald.co.nz/storydisplay.cfm?thesection=news&thesubsection=&storyID=2045729) mentions Andy's license plate, and the owners constantly polishing the car, I reckon was us more than anyone else :o (though we weren't actually polishing it over and over; just wiping off dust and smudgy finger marks from knobs with no respect)

I knew it would be worth the wait, and I knew it was going to look great, but I still got a shock when I saw just how good a job he did on it. He even polished it for me while it was at Autosalon. :D

SpecII's car looked a million bucks! Damn fine ride.

Nightmare that yellow looking R32 GTR behind one of the pics to the right, is the Croydon wholesalers Street/Drag GTR. On the dyno it threw a moddest 595kw or (780hp) and 1550 nm or (1143 flbs) of torque at the rear wheels, while wheelspinning at over 300kms in 6th gear. They had 5 large straps pulling it down to the rollers and it was still hazing the tyres.

That car was totally awesome to hear in full song as SpecII, Moondog, Darkness, and Tazdev can attest.

I guess my last post never made it into the thread.... oh well, what can ya do when the server is having issues, right? :)

Anyhoo: She looks beautiful Spec2!!! The guy did do a spectacular job even if he was a little skunk about it. Congrats, and for GOODNESS SAKE, don't get her all chipped up and dirty!

:( unfortunately that's not up to us. It'll be the fault of Transit NZ (or roading, or whatever they call themselves) who think resurface=ing a road (a main road, mind you) means pouring tar on it, followed by a shit-load of coarse stone chips/gravel, and hope that some of them stick. But how about some other pics from the show? Like of cars that I don't see everyday on the raod. (im sorry, but Im a little sick of seeing skylines everywhere, all they do look good vanishing in the rear view mirrior)


And im sorry I never made the show. I was not up for a day of trolling round lots of young kids looking at lots of Rice and thinking my Civics faster :lol2: and yes my Civics faster than that one, :lol2: and oh that one :lol2: and even that one :lol2: so that I could find the few cars that are actualy worth seeing (like the Croydens GTR), or some of the more heavily modfied show cars, and hybrids.

Sorry I don’t have any of other cars. The lighting wasn’t the best so I only took pics of mine. :D Tazdev took some of the others though, I think (as long as there were girls standing in front of them :p ). :D

I've seen only one in person...it was a fleeting glimpse of a Nissan that wasn't an Altima, Sentra, or Maxima...a longish coupe that looked very new and shiny and fast. I drove down to the dealership to see if there was a new model out (and if so, why wasn't I already aware of it??). Alas, nothing. I have to assume I saw :gasp: a Skyline.

Yeah they're like assholes, everyones got one.

I've got one, Taz has too, Spec2 has, Moondog has, Panda has(actually a few to choose from at certain times).

And just about everywhere I go there are the topline GTR's as well.
