First of all,. how much. If you are not picking this up for cheap, then I would definately head towards a GSX (turbo AWD with the 4G63 motor). Get one of these in a 5spd, and you won't look back. If you get into the non turbo, be happy with the power it has and bargan with the seller, because you "wanted the turbo AWD model"

At least let us know what price they want, and the milage. We'll tell you if it sounds good, or what you might be able to get it for.

Your heart might fall in love with the styling of this car, but don't let it make the final decision!

its for $2000. its coming from a test car garage my dad runs. its never been driven hard but has around 170k miles on it. most of the miles were put on by running on a dino, so there is little road wear. its a 5 speed and pretty loaded. its only 2000 because once the cars are tested they company has no use for them so they sell them cheap. thanks.

If it was a dyno car there is a slim chance that it wasn't driven hard.

It may not have been a road car but most dyno pulls are at WOT so it's probably not in the greatest condition. I would say pass on this one.

Yeah dude, are you into speed or being economical? A nt is good on the gas milage, pretty reliable from my understanding, and I think they have really cheap insurance, but if you care about being fast hold out for a turbo DSM preferrably a AWD. 170k miles is a lot, i'd definately hold out for a different one reguardless of you wanting a NT or a turbo.

Insurance is almost the same, gas mileage is better, reliability depends a lot on the drivers.

170k miles on a dyno car? wtf?

i talked to my dad and he told me it has less than 170... but im not positive on what it is... probly more around 120... but im not sure... a buddy of mine is selling a 89 crx for 1900. i may consider that. its in very nice condition, with new wheels. the only problem is the paint is pretty bad and has a lot of primered spots, but that can be fixed pretty cheep.

Those CRX's are no joke, they can be made fast pretty easily. I might consider it over a N/T eclipse if the conditions are right.

Yeah dude, CRX's are pretty sweet cars. Unfortunately from what I have seen is they are all POS's or showcars. Lots of young kids start working on them and either dont finish or cobble it all to hell. Put in the right hands they can be fast as fuck though. I've heard of a CRX with a stock h22 (prelude engine) running mid 12's with no mods. Imagine what boosting it would be. But they are FWD and I have sort of a problem with that. My personal opinion is that a car to be taken seriously in a drag (track or street) should atleast have the backwheels driving if not all 4. If you get a CRX, good luck, but just be ready to fix a bunch of someone elses "handy work".

yeah, im not sure what im giong to do. i dont have a whole lot of money, but for the time being the crx would good on gas... plus i looked at the eclipse and it has been hit before... the bottom of the door jam doesnt line up with the side skirt. im thinking thats just a bigger problem waiting to happen.
