ignition problems

Im having starter problems on a 1994 GMC Siera 1500
came back from vacation ,truck parked for a week turned ignition no crank. have checked starter it tested as working. the starter works( can key ignition and cross contacts from under truck and starter cranks. but no ignition or crank when i turn the key.
battery is good ,have lights power etc. but nothing when i turn key.any suggestions?

Sounds like your ignition switch has gone bad or posible just slipped. It is near the floor board on the steering colum.

Thanks for the advice turned out to be the ignition, key was not working on strat position. had to replace the cylinder guess after 190k it finaly wore out.
