does anyone know if it is possible to convert a 96 crown vic without cornering lights to have them? if so how?

Yes. Simply purchase new front turn signals with the bulb sockets and connector and install them. They plug directly into the existing plug. The extra wire for the corner light is already there and should have power when the signals are turned on. You can verify this with a test light. There should be three wires on your current turn signal sockets, but four on the female side of the plug in the fender. Test the 4th currently unused wire for power with the signal turned on. I can't remember what color it is, but it's easy enough to figure out. Hope this helps. Enjoy.

Glad to hear it. I like the cornering lights on poorly lit streets. They do seem to provide a little extra lighting.
