wiper motor location

My son has a 98 Mirage. A while ago the wipers began having problems as they would stop half way across the windshield. If he would move them with his hand they would start up again. Now they won't work at all. We would like to hear from anyone that has experienced this. We would also like to know wher the wiper motor is located. Thanks

yea my friend had his go out like that in his mirage, location is simple, if you look from the front of the car its on the left side, on the fire wall, it is sittin alone and has a couple wire running to it, just unplug the wire harness and unbolt it to replace. let me know if you need any more help

Thanks for the help. My son said he saw that motor but it was so large that he did not think it was for the wipers. At least it will be easy to get to. Thanks again.
