The car is a 1997 Grand Am Gt. It is automatic and fully loaded.
It is a V-6.
I was also told by a lock smith that the problem is in the linkage
However, I would not have any idea as to how i would find it much less fix it.
Help... This car is a head ache.

whats the problem ginabehny ? You didnt say what the real problem was .
