I have a 01 grand prix gt and looking for the best place to tie or clamp the cord to for easy access. Any ideas?

Do you mean heater core? If so, what are you trying to clamp/tie off and why?

i mean the block heater cord. I want it to be easily accessed when i plug it in at night. It won't go through the grill and I dont want to tie it off to the license plate.

Oh, you live in a cold climate, my bad. I'm not sure where the block heater is installed in the engine. Is this an aftermarket piece, or was it factory installed?

it's factory.

The GM computer shows the heater is mounted in the rear of the block, but they don't show the cord, so I have no idea how long it is. Would it come out the cowl area near the base of the windshield?

Not sure if the Service Manual pics help. Figured it might:
