I Just Took 4 Great Shape Non-electric Doors Off A Regular Caprice. Can I Swap Doors And Be Able To Make The Regular Doors Into Electric Buy Taking The Motors Out And Putting Them Into The Non-electric Doors. I Want Electric Doors.

Thanks

You have to run the wiring too - just having the motors and switches isn't enough.

You can add motors and wiring to the doors you have now - but you will need to replace the inner door covering unless you want to see the holes where the hand cranks were.

Hey Thanks for replying.

OK Cool, yeah thats all I really wanted to know if I can swap the guts and install them into a door that wasn't a electric doors.

For the switches on the doors, you can use the holes where the cranks were, you just have to expand them a little. I did a crank to power conversion on my car. The wiring was somewhat tedious, but it wasn't all that bad. Hint: use oil when drilling out the rivets, and take your time.

Thanks for Replying.

What should I use to replace the rivets?
