Hello, it`s difficult to trouble shoot your problem with this info. Please give as much info as possible like how old is the battery, what type of vehicle, is there any other problems you are having with it while driving or parked. There is a lot that can be related to this problem, or it can be just that you have to replace your battery.
Let us know, Ivan.

It would be a good idea first to take the car to a shop and have the battery load tested and the charging system checked for proper operation, either one or both can be the most common problem. If both of those check out fine then it's time to dive into the problem a little further, as ivan355 stated give a little more info.

Thanks, its a 96 lhs - good mileage - never had a problem, until recently. It seems if I leave my car parked for lets say a full days work sometimes, 8 to 9 hours - it will not start. Apparently, its abrand new battery as the prev owner states. Once the car has been boosted it runs fine - except for a clicking sound near the front of the car. Hmmmm...also it will turn on again in a couple hours - but like I said an extended period of time will leave it dead. I am going to get a new a battery tomorrow - any other suggestions?

a common problem that occurs on older LH cars is that the interior lights stay on even after the door is closed and the key is out of the ignition. Make sure when you leave and close your door that your interior lights go out, if not, trying disconnecting your battery (-) cable, that will prevent any excessive drain on the battery, though it will wipe out the memory for your radio.
