i am a new driver and the lights are bothering me:

1. when i turn on the car without igniting it, almost all the lights are on, SRS, check engine, side airbag, battery. gradually some of them goes off but check engine and battery remains on unless i ignite the car. is it normal?

2. the SRS light goes on even i didnt have any collision. is that a problem related to the battery?

thank you for your help!

The bulbs come on so you can see they are working. (not burned out)

The SRS and others perform self test at start-up.

There is only a problem if they remain on after starting, or come on while driving.

That would indicate a possible problem. And most likely not battery related. What year is the car ?? Any sort of warranty coverage ?

Disco negative battery for 10 sec reconnect see if the light clears.
