is it possiblle and if it is how difficult is it to get a remote starter intalled in a 1994 caddilac deville i only ask because i know with nost cars the heat or a/c has to be turned on high and with climate control it is always on auto so i wasnt sure if it would work and where i live everyone is as clueless about this as me and they almost always tell me "the only way to find out is to put it in and see" or the ladder "we dont mess with cadillacs" so if someone could give me some input on this subject before i spend the three hundred bucks it would be greatly appreciated

I have a Viper remote starter on my 1994 Deville. It works great! It was bought and installed at Best Buy. The only downside to it is that since the defrosters have to be manually set, they don't come on when the car is started remotely. Other than that, I love it, it's been very reliable!

Not a problem-- Have installed several- very reliable- can throw the OEM remote in a drawer- door locks, trunk, remote starter all off same transmitter- as far as climate control- just set the defrost on before you get out- the night before... works great.........

Except the rear defroster you have to manually activate each time you start the car.

If your Caddy is new enough (2000+ or so)- there are now Databus modules that turn on heated seats/mirrors, and rear defrost automatically when remote started when temps go below freezing- put one on a 2004 truck last year- nice to get in on warm seats.......
