My first marker renderings

My last post for 2005 :D

I got some Prismacolor markers for christmas and these are my first full renderings (I messed around with them first to get used to them). The DB9 is all marker; and the GTO is a mix of marker, prismacolor and gouache paint that I did to use as reference for a model I'm building. Both took about 2 - 2 1/2 hours each and are on 8 1/2 x 11" sketch paper.

This is an airbrushed eye I did a while back just for practice.

Happy new year! :)

Great job on those renderings! Can't tell you just started with the markers. I haven't played around with markers a lot, but I know what I did do didn't come close to those.

Thanks for commenting! Markers are really fun to work with. Now that i look at it, the GTO looks really stubby/cut off at the front, which makes it a little toony. Thanks for pointing that out.

Alex
