Just thought I'd write and say that I have a 98 Aurora. I crossed 100K a month ago and drove over 5000 miles in the last 2 weeks. The car didn't miss a beat!!! I did get it balanced once while on the trip, but otherwise..no problems. I averaged about 29 MPG. It was almost all highway, but about 500-700 miles was not. I keep up with maintenance pretty well, but I haven't had to do too much to the car. I have put on new shocks/struts, had the replace the A/C, and put on brakes/rotors every so often. The only thing wrong with the car now(knock on wood) is that a few lights on the doors are out (for heated seats, door lock). I wish I could replace those w/o having to replace the whole unit.
Anyways...any other stories would be good.

I have a 96 with just about 160k. Black with gray gut. Moon roof and Bose system. Knock on wood, great car here also.
I've done my share of repairs but love it. Did: shift solenoids, speed sensor (big ugh), struts, wheel bearing, water pump, axle, starter (small ugh), ignition switch, radiator, air cond comp. The typical failure points but all over the period of 5 years. I would be mad if i had to pay someone but i enjoy working on it and really love that car. Even take it to the drags once a year.
Think when i do replace it, i need a Final 500 version.
