I have no spark(plug wires or coil) how can I test the coil by using a meter, I don't have a repair manuel for this vehical. its a 99 v6. (note-everything comes on when I trun the key on all the lights everything) I used a timing light to check out for spark. I would sit here a read all the forums but I another vehical I playing with)

thanks to you all for the help, I found the problem,, on the passenger side of engine, near the exhaust, the big wire harness that near the emission pipe got hot due from valve stuck close, pipe got hot and burnt must of the wires in the harness, I have a mess to fix now....

Too bad. I hope that you don't need it for a few days.
To me it sounds like you should just replace the wire harness with a used one. The wreckers will probably only want 10 or 15 dollars for one.
