Had my truck for a year, the 4 cylinder version, anways, took it in for a service, got the injectors cleaned, oil changed, fuel filter changed, and it has been 2 days since that, and I filled it up. I was going over a speed bump and it just stalled, so I pushed it home, and after attempting to start it for 20 seconds it fired, there is a strong gas smell also. I'm wondering if some trash in the manifold broke free from the injector cleaner and is blocking a sensor somewhere. Looking for a quick fix or someone to tell me what is wrong. After I got it to fire it idled fine, turned it off, waited a minute, then I couldn't start it again. All of the wires appear connected, I obviously have fuel from the stench(sounds like it is flooding itself possibly), so I obviously have spark also since it was running.(air filter was changed also). I can get the truck to restart, but its far from guaranteed, by letting it sit for a while, but when I turn it off, it won't restart immediately. I'm guessing they somehow did something to my MAF, but its dark outside right now, but it does not look dirty or anything. Would the MAF prevent a start if it was broken, like saying no air, so it gives more fuel like a choke and that jacks it up, I did notice the truck hunting after starting until it warmed up yesterday.

well, problem seems gone now, after I got it to start, I didnt shut it down for a hour or so, maybe there was trash somewhere clogging something, took it in for a code check and there were no codes stored either, I'm hoping its a fluke.
