First of all i'm not too familiar with eclipses i used to be a 3000gt fan, I started liking the eclipses and decided to buy one for myself, What i don't know is which one i should buy, a GSX or GST. I know that the GSX is faster cause of 4 wheel drive. But i can't find any. I've seen some GST for sale and tested them. Should i wait for a GSX. Can someone tell me if there is a big difference in speed or can you GST faster cause of the weight.

If your'e looking at coupes, yes, you should wait for a GSX or a TSi-AWD. Eventually, a bigger turbo and some air/fuel stuff requires effective contact to the tarmac...front-wheel will bounce and hop all over the place (with my current FWD setup, wheel-spin is as follows, all at WOT: 1st gear=after 3000 rpm - redline, 2nd gear=after 3500 rpm - redline, 3rd gear=after ~ 5000 rpm -redline, 4th and 5th= thankgod no spin lol).
Needless to say, as cool and awesome as I feel while I'm peeling my tires through the first three gears, an NT 420a could merrily sail past me in a drag race, while my car goes through it dramatic "Hulk" phase, making all that noise and burnt rubber...and not going very far. Do I wish I had AWD? Yes. At the cost of the spyder drop-top? Nopes. Your call!

GSX for sure, plus if you ever decide to sell it, you wouldn't have any problems. Get a 5spd ofcourse!

what tires are you using sphyder? You shouldn't be spinning that early.
you really need solid motor mounts man, made a huge difference for me.

I'm running Bridgestone 225/45/17s (don't know the type, but there were expensive as shiz: $900 for all four...**ouch!).
The tires are really great, and I do have prothane mounts. As soon as I hit peak boost in early gears, the car skids all over the place like crazy (no more wheel-hop though, oddly enough). I'm having major traction issues; I'm going to get an LSD when TRE makes my tranny, that should help a little.

Yea i didnt have much problem with wheel spin in my GS-T.. I was also using BFG DR's VERY GOOD TIRE.. Normal 60' would be around 1.7-1.9 with a very rare 2.0
It's really up to you.. So i will not say what to get it's YOUR car

Get the LSD!!! I know at least on my car there is about an .4 second difference between an '03(no lsd) and '05(lsd).
And for the initial poster- wait for the gsx! :p

Hereis a list of the shit laying around
stock- wastegate
stock- bov
stock- intake manifold SOLD
stock- trunk BLACK
stock- hood BLACK
stock- ECU
stock- TIP and MAP sensors
stock- Injectors
stock- Upper motor mount
stock- 8.1:1 pistons and rings
stock- cam gears
stock- Clutch
Do you know about swaping out all that shit?? You will have to get dodge to burn your VIN into that PCM or you WONT be able to start you car.. Although they take way better to mods because the 05 PCM moniters stuff way to close.. it's to smart for it's own good..
