My car stalls when the engine runs for awhile. I have trouble starting my car when its been recently driven. I have to wait about 10 minutes before it starts. The car sometime stalls while I driving it but it started right back up. I recently moved due to hurricane Katrina so I don't have a regular mechanic. Any ideas would be happyful. I'm planning on taking it to a mechanic today. Thanks.

Which GP model and engine do you have. Could be several issues: fuel, ignition - crankshaft position sensor, CAT convertor, etc.

It's a GT with a V6 3800 Series II.

My first suggestion would be to have the fuel pressure tested to rule out fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter, etc. Next possibility based on the symptoms could be the crank sensor - CKPS. Look for tach dropping off to zero rpm right before stall and maybe a trac off and ABS light. If running OK at cruising and problem it is at low rpms or idle could be an IAC valve or TPS sensor.

Any SES light?

Thank you so much. It was the crankshaft position sensor.
