Hello
I'm working on my brothers 91 LeSabre. The struts aren't doing their job any more.
I'm looking for the best shock for the money. (I guess I want my cake and eat it too.)
I've found Monro Senatrac for around 68.37 at Shockwarehouse.com which includes shipping (over 50.00) The next lower price strut the Monro Mono-Matic for 59.46 at Discound Auto Parts.com
Any comments on Gabriel? Anyone have any experience with them? Am I getting less of a strut because of less money?
Thanks
Dan

Like anything else, you get what you pay for! The Monroe Reflex is the new generation of SensaTrac, however, they run about 25 bucks more. They could be worth it, but I doubt it. I have never heard anything negative from those using the SensaTrac on the Buicks, however I have heard that the Gabriel is too harsh and does not compliment the Buick suspension. I use the SensaTrac, and have been very happy with the ride. It is firm, but not shocking! The extra 10 bucks between Gabriel and Monroe is well worth it!
I paid 69 bucks each for the front ones for mine at Advanced Auto Parts and they were in stock. :iceslolan
