Greetings all,
A simple question. Does anyone know which size wrench/socket I need for draining the oil on a 2005 Malibu Maxx 3.5L?
Thanks in advance!

14 mm sticks in my mind, I just grab a wrench until one fits. I guess you don't own any wrenches.

Thanks for the reply. No, I didn't have any wrenches. Long story, but I have some now. 1/2" did the trick.
Happy new year!

I didn't wait until it went to 0%. I changed the oil at 3,923 miles and the oil life was at 54%. Those miles included one long trip - about 1,800 highway miles.
Maybe I don't need to change it as frequently, but I changed the oil in my last car at similar intervals and sold it with over 250,000 miles on the engine without ever having anything rebuilt and it didn't smoke at all.
Thanks for the feedback.
