gauges + a piller.

I was trying to find a decently priced egt, boost, and voltage guage. I understand everyone recommend getting the a/f guage but I have a SAFCII waiting to be installed and to my knowledge that will take care of that..

I really need the egt guage though and so that makes the set of 3 hard to find cheeply. I'd prefer to have them all the same series so that they match in the a piller.

Any of you have a similar setup and if so where did you get it from? All the ebay sets didn't have the egt guage in them. When i look at some sites i see individual guages costing 100-200 dollars. I think thats a bit rediculous. I'm looking to spend about 175 total for all 3 and an a pillar holder. Is that too low?

Yeah $175 is pretty low for those 3 guages. I'd hit www.slowboyracing.com (http://www.slowboyracing.com) they seem to have really good prices. I personally wouldnt go with anything but autometer, but I know that others will work too. I'm going to get the phantoms, I like the white face with black trim and they seem to be cheaper than most of the other sets.

I wasn't sure because on ebay you can grab 3 guages and pillar for 100 but you can't get the egt guage with that and the site I was using to turbo my car highly recommended it.

Slowboy doesn't seem to have an egt guage. Well they do but it's 225 dollars... I'm torn between getting a guage for when I tune or take my chance and melt a piston when it comes to that price :) (I'm j/k that would be stupid of me)

i have the phantom series.... really Nice... if you want the EGT, your going to have to bite the bullet on it... because with all things that really matter, they have their Price! Good Luck! i can post pics if you like...

they look nice. I think i amy end up with them what color do they light up at night? or don't they. My friend has some a pillar guages that don't light up, they are installed correctly just crap from ebay with no lights. it makes them the most pointless things ive ever seen.

they light up white, but you can change the color to red and green, i haven hooked up with my dim switch they look prety nice, i'll try to take a pic of them when they are on,

That's my phantom series boost gauge with the red bulb in at night.

Goto Autozone and pickup some of their cheap gauges. That's what I got. I don't think they make an EGT gauge though. Doesnt look bad. Has that pale blue-ish light to them. Matches the reverse glow lights, so it's all good

Don't worrie about the light show A/f gauge waist of money.. Get a real one!

When I get my WBO2, that ones being replaced on mine.

thanks for all the input. I really liked the look of the phantom guages. Do they sell replacement bulbs for them though incase they burn out.


I'm also worried with the a pillar since I have a spider they will be visible and possibly distracting to other drivers but I dont' think that will matter much.

WHAT... other drivers.. dont worrie about them if they wanna look at your gauges all day let em just watch you ass.. LMAO

ohh your bulbs if they are anything like the pro comp ultra lights you can get at any parts store..

haha i was just worried aobut they hey they are watching finding nemo effect.. My friend was driving once and passed someone with a movie on the visor of their convertible. It was finding nemo and he kept looking over and I had to yell watch the road. So I just don't want other drivers doing the same like ohhh pretty lights and then not paying attention.

I already have undercar lights so I know this happens. Everyone looks when I'm on the road like oh pretty blue lights and then doesn't pay attention. So now I stopped using them on main roads and only on back roads.
