After the mess I made of the Messerschmidt, I'm so far very pleased with the paint job on this. I can proudly say its my best paint job by far! I just need to remove a spot of enamel that got under the masking. How should I do this?
Here is some basic pics of the car and also the actual size of it next to the Messerschmidt and a Fiat Barchetta. These kits are tiny!

My son have a future in junkyard works..

so I can see an interesting barchetta: keep update please:naughty:

and concerning the isetta: it seem good, keep updt man

Thanks Giovanni!! I'll surprise you with some of the kits I have waiting to be built. Lots of Italian cars & bikes that aren't very common here.

You should be able to remove the enamel on the clear glass part easily with some plastic polish. I have always liked this car. It's very unique.

Stupid question, but what is plastic polish? Is it a household chemical?

Love the subject! And I'm still jealous that I haven't got one of these (yet) ;)

Looking forward to seeing this come to life :bigthumb:

You can usually find it at a hobby shop. Look for a product called Novus or the Treatment Model Car Wax. It essentially is a verion of car wax that is safe to use on your models. It has a slight abrasive material in it that will take the enamel off, but the abrasive is so small that you really won't see a difference in the clear plastic.

Cool. Cool. Cool. I have never seen the Isetta kit built up. Is it suposed to be a very detalied kit like tamiya's clear bodied kits? Or just clear for..i dunno....Keep up the awsome progress!

Thanks guys! This kit has no detail at all! The body is clear I think just to irritate me! But it turned out good. I haven't done anything this weekend (for obvious reasons!) I'llget back to it from tomorrow I think. Oh I managed to clean the windows with thinner and a cotton swab. It worked OK!
