Size? Plug wires?

I just bought some NGK BPR7ES plugs and was wonder what size ngk wires to buy to go with them for good performance.

You don't necessarily have to go with NGK wires, but you did good getting those plugs if you are turbo. The thicker the wires, the better. But they are also usually more expensive to bigger you go. I think 8.5 mm would be sufficient, if you want to go bigger go right ahead. Depends on your budget.

Kevin(95 gsx racer) had his car into the 11's with the stock ngk wires. Its up to you if you want to spend the money. You can just replace old one's with the stock ngk's and that will be all you need most likely. Its all up to you and what you want to do.

The thickness specification of the wire is just the outer diamter of the insulation, I'm not sure it matters much. The NGK wires are much thinner than the Magnasucks and are many times more reliable. I would just stick to trusted brands, and NGK is certainly one of them. The only one I trust in fact besides the stockers... But that's just me :)

How do you feel about msd wires kevin? They seem to know their stuff and make some nice products. I would definetly go with ngk but they seem a little hard to find.

I considered getting a set of the build your own MSDs for a custom project, but I never got around to it. I wouldn't take the risk if some NGKs were near at hand, but at the same time, there is only one way to find out how they work, and that's to try them :) ANother thing to keep in mind is that a wire may work well enough on a stock turbo DSM that you don't see any problems with it, but on another DSM going through 65 lbs/min they may not be able to spark even with a 025 gap... So it's all relative.

This is on a N/T, but the OBX 10.3 mm wires I bought work great. They could probably be just a little bit longer, but other than that I am satisfied for only paying about $40 shipped off Ebay.
