City Extra 'cause it's open so late

La Botte at Carlingford for Pizza and Pasta

Inferno if I'm going to the movies at broadway or macquarie center.

Dunno if it's still there, but Dede's at the Canturbury Leageus club is great - awesome restaurant and fantastic food.

Il Vicolo at Ryde for Italian

Noble terrace at Ryde for Chinese

Praram thai restaurant at ryde - but I have to be very careful about what I eat :(

Only ones I can think of at the moment :)

yeah been to kam fook a few times for yum cha...only thing it gets slow for food to come around, although it does taste ok.

there is also another chinese restaurant...sharkfin dragon seafood or something in one of the plazas there...went there once...food was alright...

my friend knew the owner.

Also a really nice woodfire pizza place on the strip at Sans Souci (I think). Fun to watch all the ricers drive past or just head down to the beach at night with pizza :)

ok...

the "OLD THANH HUONG" was the original restaurant, opened by another aunt of mine, more than 15 years ago. Then the Thanh Huong 2 opened, slightly different menus - this restaurant next to the asian grocery, and then my aunt and uncle, opened another restaurant, right next door to the "old thanh huong" restaurant, so there were 2 x (thanh huong 2) restaurants, and the Old Thanh Huong.

A couple of years ago, the lease was up on the restaurant next to the asian grocery, and he decided he didn't want to renew....so it was leased to someone else, who decided to try and trick customers by choosing a name real similar...Tan Hung....or something...and also having similar menus...but food not as nice.

yeah, so some customers got tricked at first, but then found out later on.

So basically the OLD Thanh huong is more viet restaurant, the Thanh Huong 2 (which is the busy one, and my mum works at) serves combo of viet, chinese, thai, indo, malaysian.

Its soooo busy half the time, that they have to give ticket numbers, and people line up outside.

Just to add a bit more confusion :p

my uncle also owns the grocery store on the block, but leases it out :p we joke and say one day, he'll own the whole block.

Oh, and your not the first person to tell me they frequent that restaurant :p

one of my uni friend's dads always goes there, as well as my friend Q1 and her group of viet friends, plus some of my uni teachers too :p
