whats up guys...its been a while...anyways...

theres a muffler shop downtown that priced me 100-120 for regular piping to bend an exhaust from the cat back...i asked about stainless and they said it would be about 175...is stainless piping worth the difference in pricing??? i dont know a lot about exhaust systems:loser: and i dont want to pay 175 and get ripped off cause its not worth the difference...or not pay it and wish i did later on...i really want to make a decision and get it done today or tomorrow before school starts back up monday...so id appreciate a quick response on this...thanks everybody

I wouldn't really worry about the stainless...The regular crap that they use is durable and will last just fine without rusting or anything.

For an extra $50 stainless steel piping is worth it IMO. A lot depends on where you live. If you are in states that get snow, salt, shit, whatever you want to call it, stainless is the way to go. If you are in a warm state that dosnt get all that, you should be fine with just regular steel pipe.

I would go with 2.25" if I was you...that's the size I will be going with when I get mine done in the spring. 2.5" is just a tad too big unless you are planning to mod the hell out of it.

Another often overlooked benefit of stainless is lower weight. On heavy underpowered cars espeically it can be worthwhile...

yea, stainless is definately worth the lil extra cash, super strong, and wont rust lyk ur stock exhaust. btw if ur thinking about runnin high amounts of boost i wood recomend a 2.5" or 3" exhaust piping. if u have an awd i wood take a look at the N1 exhaust by A'PEXI. hope i cud help u

Dude, please use some proper grammar and spelling! You sound like a 12 year old kid! Also, he is non turbo, so he wouldn't need the 3" diameter, and he's not awd.

Sorry for getting off topic, rs97eclipse1695. Post some pics up when it's finished!
