What year?

I have an 2003 TB ext, and I don't see a light bulb nor switch under the hood like on my Buick LeSabre T-Type, or my 1996 Blazer. Does the TBs come with one?

Thanks in advance,

-TuBlaz

02s do, but GM cut them in later 03+ years to save money. If you have one, it would be located above the fusebox mounted on the hood. It uses a gravity weight to trigger the light. When the hood goes up, the magnet falls and triggers the light. Same thing in reverse happens when lowering the hood.

My 2003 TB Ext doesn't have the hood light, however, is there a way to add one?

Thanks again,

Probably, all it is is a ground and a 12V+ wire going to the lamp/switch assembly. The light is operated by a ball-drop style assembly, as the hood opens, the gravity pulls the ball down in the assembly, completing the circuit and the light comes on.
