ok here I go the ses light came on my truck again.I took it in to the dealer soon after and these codes
P1415-secondary air injection system malfunction, left bank(the last time I went in it was the right bank 2 months ago)
P0453-Evaporative emissions control system, pressure sensor high output(the last time I went in they replaced the whole fuel pump module)
Anyway the mech said I need a new fuel pressure sensor for the EEC and a new check valve for the air injection system total value for parts and labor $417 bucks!!!!!!!! money I dont want to spend I had a chilton repair manual and looked it over.... on a scale of 1 to 10 how would you guys grade the work involved replacing these parts if not checking or cleaning these items.(the pressure sensor is where the fuel module is at I belive tank drop time again!! ) Also, do any of you guys have experence with these emmisions control systems more so with these two codes, If so please chime in.

Just leave that crap. It has no effect on the performance of the truck. Fix it when You have to get it smogged.

evaporative emissions save you money because you burn the gas that the fuel pump cant possibly transfer to your engine and if left alone would just go into the air. its worth fixing. whats more annoying is when people ask for help but dont give us any info to work with. like make/model/engine :P that should be a requirement for posting no matter what.
