Hi Guys
I have a 95 Gt with about 160Kms on it. This morning it refused to start. I had it towed to a trusted mechanic's shop, and he says while I am getting some spark, it is quite weak and that likely the ignitor is fried. Funny, the car was running beautifuly when I turned it off on Christmas Eve, but then would not start this morning. Anway, long story short, I seem to need a new distributor. I have a spare out of a 93 or 94 Mazda Mx6 but apearently it's firing order is wrong for the Probe. I have read about a less expensive fix for this problem, I think on this forum. Does anyone have either the details of that fix or a good distributor out of a 95 GT? If so, where and how much do you need for it?
Thanks
Rob in Toronto Ontario
