pm8 ecu for mpfi

So along with my d16y7 swap, I"m converting to mpfi in my automatic crx dx. I've been trying to locate the right ecu, but I can't seem to find one. I've come accross an automatic CRX HF ecu. I know they were mpfi, but here are my two questions:

Will in work in my car, esspecially since my car is canadian and we never had the HF model here?
Will it totally kill all the power?

I'd look for a 4th gen EX auto ecu (not sure numeration)...
