car update.....lots of pics!

Well heres a few pics of my car, 1988 honda crx SI....i got bored so i decided to post a few up, it's still being put back together so be easy on me, the color i went with was Nighthawk black effect....i think it turned out really good... if you cant tell all the side moldings are shaved off as well as the sunroof, which is reinforced with thin steel rods and a piece of sheeet metal...let me know what ya think! thanks guys...

Not too bad. Sunroof shave looks nice and smooth. How did you get it so smooth? I may have mine professionally smoothed over before paint. I left my little rear squirter thing even though it doesn't squirt...

Yea, I HATE BODY WORK, just lots of labor,on the roof mostly longblock it, guidecoat it, bondo, longblock, guidecoat, bondo...over and over again....its bitch thats for sure, ill try to get some close up pics, you would never guess the sunroof was ever there until you look inside, the grooves along the side of the roof were left also so it would look as clean as possible

Me too. Bodywork sux a$$... I left the rain gutters on mine too. Actually I bondoed them then took a belt sander and removed most of the bondo. I've gone over the roof numerous times. I'm tired of it. I just had to sand out some cracked primer spots and redo it again. Damn weather changing. From a distance it doesn't look so bad though. Props to you dude.

yea i took a big risk go with a dark color too, but i had a vision of what i wanted with the car, so i took a risk and things turned out GREAT! good luck though. ... i was afraid they would be waivy after seeing the guide coat but all is well!

but yet again i cant take ALL the credit i have a buddy of mine who did ALOT of the work...

b16a nothing special at this point in time, im orginally located out of Wichita,ks but i recently relocated to good ol Iola,ks to go to school

now it needs some corner lights and to be lowered a little.
the paint came out nice from what i can tell.
