How to Reprogram a car starter

I have a 96 taurus and its been sitting with a dead battery sence june now that its being driven again the car starter will not work could anyone tell me how to reprogram it, its a autostart brand with only 2 buttons, one for starting and one for keyless entry. Thanks.

Oh the battery was dead in the remote too but its been changed.

you'd have to call or email autostart or go on their website, this isn't really a taurus issue than it is an autostart electronics issue.

Ok thanks, is there anyway to find what model number? i have no manual or anything.

Do you know where the module for the AutoStart remote starter is mounted in your car? If so, the model number is probably on the module somewhere.
