So let see what i want to ask. I searched a little but nothing in hard stone, when i take my 2g head off and get a 1g head soon what parts different will i need. I know i will need a different camshaft position sensor, but is there anything else i should know or need? I just need to locate a good 1g head now. Been searching for a good one with a good price for a few weeks now.

Thanx Eric

I dont think you need anything, IIRC they are direct swaps. There is something about the CAS though right? Again, IIRC the 1gs dont have one, but the 2gs do. I dont know what you do then. Congrats on the 500th post.

I just hit 1000 :grinyes:.

You should put a 1g intake manifold on too if you've got the the money. If not you should do that at some point too. If you see the intake manifolds side by side that will help the 1g is way bigger.

On mine I had to reroute the coolant lines also(a bitch but necissary). Also some of the holes need to be drilled out larger. If I remember correctly this is the site I used for mine:
