Dash Pad Colors Help

I have a 1969 Impala Convertible, and we are trying to find a replacement dash for it, and there has been no luck. We did find one, but It was black, and I have a red interior, so how would we go about coloring it? Can you paint them or dye them? How can you color them the best to match your interior?
