First queastion- on a post above, man mentioned IAC same thing as the MAF?

My car, in few words, has seen better days and does not enjoy living in the toilette. <--Cheezy eh?

Well, it will not accelerate properly. I have to apply full throttle to even move, and after 10 MPH I have to release throttle fully to shift into second and from there I have to "Baby" the gas pedal or it will not accelerate.

At stoplights, or signs lol, I almost always have to put the shifter (Automatic) into Neutral and apply the brakes and "rev" the engine to keep ot alive, lol.

I have used my many machines to attempt to figure out what the problem is. The car will only tell me so much because it is only the original OBD (Onboard Diagnostic) system.

I have read of this problem here sooooooo many times and even taken some of the steps to fix it.

I have replaced the TPS (Throttle Positioning Sensor)
O2 Senors in the Cat
Spark Plugs (all 8 of them, lol JK)
Spark Wired
Terminals, All (I MEAN ALL) Wiring harnesses in vehicle and batterie

well thanx

Better to know than to not

IAC and MAF are totally different pieces.

I would replace the IAC and go from there.

I finally figured it out, it was the MAF. I took one off of a 95' Mistique and now it runs better than it did. Finally got it going.
