hard start

My 95 4.6 T-bird is giving me a hard time getting it started in the morning or after it has not been running for hours;it takes several cranking attempts to get it started and the battery has plenty of power .once it starts it's no problem getting it restarted .It runs like new.
Please , help . What could possibly be wrong with it

when my 3.8 TBird had a similar problem, I had to replace my starter. I also replaced the solenoid too since it was a fail inexpensive part. I don't know if the start and solenoid are seperate on the 4.6 Birds. I would also look into how many cold cranking amps your battery has if you live in a cold weather city.
