Quick wheel question.

The stock rims on my Yukon are 16" x 7". So is that the only size I can get without having to get new tires because most aftermarket ones are 16x8

you shouldn't have go get snow tires if the aftermarket rims. go to tires.com or tirerack.com and search for size tires there should get several summer and or all season tires w/o having to go with snow tires

Thanks for the info I guess but that has nothing to do with the question I asked....

a few tires that fit a 16x7 should also fit a 16x8. Go to the tire manufacturer's website, look up that tire's specification sheet, and see if 8" is within the approved rim width for that size tire.

It doesn't say anything about wheel size, but these are the tires..

It's a little unclear what you are asking.

It sounds like you are asking if 16X8 wheels will fit on your vehicle without changing tire size. The answer is yes! The key to making this work is offset and that's something that's best left to the installer to make sure it works.

offset has nothing to do with his tires fitting his rims.

yes, most 265/70/16's will fit on 16x8's
