Air bag light flashes

Have a 1992 Ford Taurus 3.0 V6. Installed a new heater core. In order to install the heater core you must remove the dash completely. The wiring harness under the dash has to be disconnected.
Re-installed dash and harness for the umpteen time and the air bag light flashes on and off. Do I have to have the brain box re-set or what do I do to solve this problem?

Welcome to AF! You should post this in the Taurus forum but I would believe that you have a bad connector or circuit somewhere. Take it to the dealer and let them diagnose the system. A flashing light usually means something minor is going on it may take you hours to find out what can be found by a dealer scan in a few minutes.

i think you can count the number of flashes to get a code. for example, if its 34, it'll flash 3 times, pause, and flash 4 more times. this will save you the charge for running a scanner to get a code
