Playing Cat and Mouse (err Bird)

Me being Sulvester and an older modle (late 90's) Silver v6 Automatic Mustang being Tweety.

This was probably the first trip ive taken w/o the stereo :screwy: . Enjoying hte hum of my new exaust.
I went to walmart, picked up some Oil, a filter, and a funnle and headed home. On US90, a 6 lane road (3 on each side), i notice a Mustang, Very clean, looked brand new except it was the older body style. Upon getting closer i saw no GT badges so its v6. i'm semi fair game :smile:.
I try to catch light after light with us both up on the light but it never happens...she (yes she) liked mvoing to traffic rather quickly.

So when we get to where US 90 and Baya split we both go off on Baya. When i finally got next to her she glanced over and took off...i had my window cracked and just from the way it downshifted it was so an automatic.

So i downshifted to 3rd (we are going about 45) and changed lanes and followed her.

I kept up for about 3/4 of the way to my house. not so much in speed but that she didnt know how to drive for shit. she couldnt predict traffic on a 4 lane road :uhoh: . she stayed ahead of me and every time we got to an open area we would both accelerate...she wouldnt pull away all that fast...we never took it over 80, most of the time it was lane changes at around 45-50.

when we hit heavier traffic she was making lane changes i refuse to. Either i didnt feel like testing my trucks lane change ability or i didnt feel like throwing someone into a possible panic causing an accident. Some Anti Sway bars and shocks may be in order...because im not lowering my truck. :lol2:

So all in all i think a faired well. after reviewing the specs she has about 200lbs less curb weight than me plus i have 150lbs more from my stereo. she has 190bhp and after exaust im probably just over 150bhp...she being an auto though her whp probably isnt a huge jump. id like to race one from a dig because they have 3.23 gears i think and me with 4.10's and lockers i have a chance off the line. i know a kid that has one with exaust...ill talk to him and let you guys know how it goes. :sunglasse

if it was the curvy body style mustang, then it only has 150 hp, with exhaust maybe 155.

is your truck awd? also, you should get the supercharger for it, i know you want that thing to last untill the end of college but it brings the hp up to 200+ ad torque to 210 or 220.

truck is 2wd....even it it was 4wd you dont drivei n 4wd.

Supercharger is going to wait a while. Intake, TB spacer, maybe some custom headers (there are no production headers for my truck), cat delete.... idl iek to do a 4.8 or 5.0 swap but i dont have that kind of money.
