hi all.
is it possible to fit my 1992 caprice with a duel exhaust.
the duel system looks much better too.
can i have it done at any dealer.
most garages here in the uk wont touch my caprice, they say its too complicated.

It can be done but odds are you're gonna have to have custom pipes made to fit, not to forget eliminating the crossover. Oh, and I dont think a dealer can do it.

This seems to be a popular topic (covered several times previously). There seems to be two ways you could go with this:
First, you can get someone to custom make you an exhaust system. There is no "complete" aftermarket system I have heard of so far where you can buy a whole system and just change it all out and it fits. This seems to be the most common and the easiest way to achieve dual exhaust.
Second, I have heard on this forum that you could use the exhaust system from an LT1 model Caprice (had factory dual exhaust) and should bolt up if you use the LT1 manifolds, not the older manifolds. Again, I have only heard about this option here and do not know about this from personal experience.

The 94-6 b-bodies got a different tranny crossmember with humps on both sides to allow the exhaust room to pass under. I do not believe it is a direct boltin either so even if you try to use a stock 94-96 exhaust system you will still have some fabricating to do.
