rear window will not open

96Jimmy blazer rear window will not open.Please tell me why?

more than likely the peice that connects it is broken, to open the window climb into the back and with your favorite screw driver find the soft spot right below the latch it is behind the carpet on the door, peel the carpet back insert screw driver and find the latch and move it to release, now climb back out and open the window, then remove the screws, pull off the door panel and fix the problem
