Greetings,Was looking at a 95 Deville 120.000 miles I think. Car lot wants around $5,000.00 Was wondering if it is worth it,I do not know the reiliablty of these newer Cadillacs. Last one I owned was a 1970 Deville,Very reliable car it was.Was thinking about offering $4,000.00 for the car. Any suggestions would be helpful.Thanks...Diesel1962

I think your suggested price of $4k is fair for a good car. The asking price is a bit high. If the car has blemishes, offer a bit less.
These cars were generally very good, with only a chronic road vibration problem in some models being the biggest complaint.
IMO the Concours model is a better deal; it has 25 more hp and better handling than the base model.

I personally would stay away from the Concours model. The early Northstars had thier share of problems that the 4.9 did not. The 4.9 was one of the most reliable engines Cadillac ever made, and with 120,000 miles, the 4.9 is going to be cheaper to keep running than a Northstar with that mileage.
$5,000 is a rediculous asking price with that many miles! For example, I bought my 1994 Deville with 94k miles for $3,500. And the car was in gorgeous condition! Unless this car is dang near perfect except for the mileage, I wouldn't pay more than $4,000.
