Help!

I was changing my crankshaft position sensor and after I removed the bolt I tried to pull it out, but the friggin thing snapped off! I've got to pick my wife up from work in two hours! Please help me if you can guys, I could really use the help. Why was it pulling out so hard? Its a 1997 two wheel drive 2.2
