engine swap

what all would i have to do computer/wiring... in order to drop a 351 into my 88 F-150? came with 302.. im thinkin about buying a 351 and fixing it up then droppin it in my truck....well as long as comp and wiring will all be plugNplay

Nope. The EEC is programmed for the 302, you WILL need the correct EEC for the 351 (or use a MegaSquirt).

or you could just say screw it and switch your 351 over to carburated.I did this with a 91 f 150.Went from a 300-6 fuel injected to a 302 carburated.I just eliminated all the wires I didnt need and I had to get a fuel pressore regulator and gauge,since the electric fuel pump puts out alot more than a mechanical.
